Time to make a video
Spent 4 hours in the studio today. This project (Sit For A While) has seen several steps of refinement, each resulting in a higher level of quality, a higher sheen of polish. I loved the energy and fun we had recording the live sessions at Rorshach Studios with Keith Sommers, and then we added some more and different ideas during mixing and mastering with Stephen Pettyjohn at Ethereal Pro Sound. The team approach and the input from more and more creative minds, allowed us to elevate the product with each successive pass.
Now it’s time to focus on the video. We have a father and kids to play in the park, there will be a cameo from the Humlie Trio; now we need permission from the city of McMinnville to film on the street and in the park. I’ll head into Mac tomorrow to see about that.
Another thing I have to do tomorrow is listen to my vocal performance over and over so that I can lip sync it seamlessly on camera on Friday. Rest and water, and lots of it.
Someone has kindly offered to pay for a make-up artist. So now we just need to find one who is available. I stopped by Twist salon yesterday but their make-up artist will be out of town this weekend. I also stopped by Spa Bliss but they’re closed on Monday, so I’ll try them again tomorrow. Stevie also contacted a friend of her’s from a different salon.

Yes, rest and water work wonder!! All the best for Friday shoot, I wiill be there in spirit!!!
Thanks, Wanee!
