I’m excited to play with Brian Lauritzen again. He’s an amazing Cello player and so intuitive with the colors and textures he creates. I’m excited that I’ll get to play music with Jean Paul Monsche. I put together this medley of tunes that I cover at wineries and weddings, and I sent it to Brian and Jean Paul, but then this morning I stopped by Jean Paul’s website, and I love the music on there! And it matches the vision I think Mickey and Tamara have for their wedding, and I’m picturing Brian plucking his cello in a manner similar to the upright bass I hear in this recording. Hmmmm, I think I’m going to ask Jean Paul to select a tune that we can learn so that there’s a mix of both the styles that I’m familar with and the style that he does in all it’s beautiful, romantic French-ness.
Anyway, last night I recorded this on Imovie and sent it to the guys. Couldn’t get the upload to go through, but Darlene figured it out. She’s good at that sort of thing. I’m working at Domaine Serene today, labeling project. Hookup through Express Personnel. So I’ll have to chart the other song that we’re doing, “To Find You,” later tonight. When I get back from work, I’m spending a few hours with the Sarnowski’s.

I liked every thing I heard by them!
