I spent all of 2011 resting and sitting and waiting and trusting. I understood some things about the choice and process of total dependence on God to provide me with everything I need. I saw crazy stuff happen, and I do mean crazy stuff. Like rent showed up every month, and we made studio recordings and I had food, and we even made a couple music videos, and I received new equipment, a new guitar, new effects pedals, and better tools like a video camera and a smartphone. One of the most miraculous things phenomena I witnessed was the gathering and formation of a WE.
I thought at the beginning of the year that I was being asked to not sell music EVER. But it appears that was just the lesson for the year, to trust God completely and not charge and not sell. And here we are at the end of 2011, sustained, maintained and advanced over the course of these 12 months.
I’ve begun preparations now to sell some of the music that’s been coming through me. I’ve learned a lot about how I work as a Producer and as a Servant. There is much to be done and many service projects to be resourced. In particular, I’ve accepted the honor of joining the board of Love’s Door, a service provider to orphans and families in the Zambian village of Singanga.
I am also very involved in community development in the small rural town of Sheridan, Oregon.
You can help with prayer. You can help with money. You can help by telling your friends about this music and helping us sell these songs. You can tell parents about this amazing children’s book “Dear Child,” from author Nichole Yoder. There are a ton of ways you can help. I figure if you pray first, then listen to your heart, get in where you fit in, you’ll know what to do. When you understand why, how will present itself.
Thank you,
Lennox
